Custom Program

World-class Executive Communication, tailored to the needs of your organization

Custom Program

Custom Organization Programs (COP) provide tailor-made solutions aligned with the specific needs of your organization’s junior through senior level executives. Our program development team works together with your company’s Human Resources team to construct a program that provides impactful results to small or large groups of participants, all based on the specific competencies that require attention.

Custom Organization Programs focus on the communications skills required of today’s global business leaders, and put your employees, and your company, in a position to succeed.

We provide tailor-made programs, customized to the specific needs of our clients, to organizations throughout Brazil. Our programs provide high-impact results in an accelerated format with a focus on the critical executive communication skills required of today’s global business leaders.

Impact

Custom programs are tailored to the specific needs of each organization. Whether the goal is to accelerate the learning of language skills or to leverage individual business communication skills, participants will acquire the required skills and frameworks. A custom program is developed to enhance capabilities in critical areas, including:

  • PRESENTATION
Trend’s exclusive methodology offers participants the opportunity to develop boardroom-ready presentations with the advisement of our consultants, or to train for the boardroom with simulated presentations based on real-world situations, each applicable to the participant’s needs.
  • NEGOTIATION
Real cases of successful negotiations supported with multi-media resources, including scenes from Hollywood films and simulations with expert feedback, designed to give executives the edge in the boardroom.
  • BUSINESS COMPETENCIES
Knowledge, Applied Language, Vocabulary and Discussions on Strategy, Leadership, Management, Finance, Technology, Marketing and Innovation – all delivered with an interactive approach.
  • WRITING
Written business correspondence (corporate communication and bulletins, E-mails, text messages, etc.) challenge many professionals, but are an absolute necessity in today’s business world. This program gives hands-on experience and provides participants the ability to leverage the written word into sustained success.
  • ORAL COMMUNICATION
Round-table discussions on specific business topics and concepts combined with business cases studied in-depth during program sessions leverage the participant’s oral communication skills into a higher level of fluency, proficiency, and competence. Oral Communication programs also provide exposure to international business situations.
  • CROSS-CULTURE
The multi-media-focused Cross Culture program uses Dynamic Trivia games related to the cultural differences often encountered while conducting international business. The program uses video clips demonstrating easily avoided gaffes commonly seen in the global marketplace.
  • MEETINGS
The use of Business Functions is stressed during simulation meetings throughout the program. In addition, a dynamic and engaging mini-course, “Q&A (How to Leverage Questions and Answers)”, is a key element for this session.

Our Learning Model

Our proven, customized programs incorporate a unique methodology. Our intensive, modular learning process equips groups of executives with tangible skills that can be put to immediate use.

A typical custom program consists of four modules. Each module varies in length, from one day in our standard open-enrollment format, to two days or more if continued development is desired for a given skill-set. Courses are held every 15 to 30 days in our standard-format open enrollment program.

Programs are structured to promote a dynamic interchange between participants and instructors. By working and learning together, executives develop their language and communication abilities through their shared interactions.

Our diverse instructional approach includes faculty lectures and presentations, interactive group discussions, and individual and team-based role-playing/scenario-based learning.

Process

Our team of language and communication specialists works with your HR team to design a program specific to your company’s needs. Your program’s curriculum and learning materials are developed to specifically address these unique objectives.

To develop a program that addresses each company’s unique needs, language and communication specialists conduct a two-hour, one-on-one assessment to identify development opportunities and the current level of communication ability for each participant.

The interview results, considered with regards to each company’s stated program goals, form the basis of each individual participants’ development model. Our program staff develops curriculum and learning materials unique to each participant.
